Back Doors Man: Это одна из самых известных трибьют-команд Дорз - Wild Child. На этом диске разные их записи. Вот мне понравилось как они сыграли Light my Fire. Хотя трибьют группы - это плохо,как правило. Еще у них есть концертник,отличный,с ними даже Манзарек играет в некоторых вещах. Но найти мне его пока не удалось.

Насколько я знаю по литературе, это было одно из выступлений последнего тура с Джимом Моррисоном в составе группы (кажется в нем было всего 4-5 концертов). Ссылка уже не работает. Если качество записи шоу хорошее, перезалейте его пожалуйста. Буду очень признателен.

"существенные отступления от оригинала" - это, конечно, еще мягко сказано. впрочем, это не упрек и если бы Колман строго следовал букве, тьфу т.е. ноте, то получилось бы (думаю) не очень не все композиции мне одинаково понравились, но некоторые просто супер!!! Light My Fire (которую я в оригинале не очень жалую, мягко говоря) тут вышла просто замечательно!!! Этот вариант, пожалуй, лучше оригинала! по моему мнению, естна. Strange Days мне тоже очень понравилась! да, в принципе, все было слушать интересно. People are Strange - несколько мрачновато, ей отдаю третье место (после оригинала и варианта Феди Чистякова) вообще, хотелось бы узнать побольше об исполнителях и об истории этой записи. если есть такая информация. заранее спасибо!

Back Doors Man: Iformation What do you get when you put former Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek up alongside guitar wizard Roy Rogers (not the cowboy star)? You get "Ballads Before The Rain", an evocative, reflective duo release that features Manzarek's piano interacting simply and effectively with Rogers' guitar. The bill of fare is all-instrumental, and includes some Manzarek originals, a Satie piece, and yes, a couple of reinterpreted Doors classics, "Riders on the Storm" and "The Crystal Ship."
